The Archives of Ontario has recently acquired two original 19th century photos of a group of pages in the Ontario Legislature at Queen’s Park. These photos come from an estate that included photos from Frank Madill, who was an Ontario politician from 1881 to 1883 and then moved on to become an MP. It appears that these photos were from that same time frame, 1881-1883. The one picture is almost certainly on the front steps of Queen’s Park, the other has some of the same people in it.
