Purpose

To gain an understanding of the important role women played in the workforce during WWII, and to gain a sense of what they did for recreation while most men were away fighting overseas.

Strand: Canadian History

Students will use primary source documents to gain an understanding of the important role women played in the workforce during WW II. Students will gain a sense of what women did for recreation while most of the men were away fighting overseas.
