Writing a Letter to a World War 1 Soldier

Grade 10 - History - Academic or Applied

 

Purpose

This lesson is designed to assist students in developing a sense of historical perspective or empathy with a soldier, as well as a sense of chronology, in regard to the First World War.

Overview

Students examine three letters from a World War I soldier, decide which one was written last, and then respond appropriately to it.
