Black and White Aerial Forestry Photos

Welcome to the Black and White Ministry of Natural Resources Aerial Photography Selection interface.

This interface serves as an index to the Forest Resource Inventory (FRI) aerial photography collection (RG 1-429-7), and displays photographic coverage for areas in the Province of Ontario.

To search for a photo, click the Ontario map in the location closest to the photo you want. Users can navigate through the different layers of the map within the interface and zoom in on locations of interest. Once at the lowest level, you will see individual dots that represent an area for which we hold photos and the years of those photos.
