Purpose of the Public Meetings
The public meetings were an important step to gather feedback from members of the public and to hear the voices and views of the community. The public meetings gave them the opportunity to share their concerns and opinions directly with the Commission.
Dates, Times and Location of the Public Meetings
The Commission held two public meetings on May 25 and 26, 2022, in Ottawa at the Shaw Centre from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Attendance
The public meetings were open for everyone to attend, and the Commission thanks the 74 members of the public who attended onsite and the 12 members of the press who also were in attendance. The Commission also thanks the nearly 1,000 people who watched the livestream and the thousands of people who watched on television on Rogers TV.
