Discussion Papers Prepared by the Inquiry

The Inquiry has prepared three discussion papers on major policy areas intended to assist parties in their Part II submissions. The first paper considers the relationship between police and government and the scope of police independence from improper governmental influence. The second paper considers the policing of Aboriginal occupations and protests and the relationship between Aboriginal peoples and the police. The third paper considers treaty and Aboriginal rights.
