Seven Years War (1756-1763)

This war formally began in 1756, although the French and British had been fighting in North America since 1754. The Seven Years War had France, Spain, Austria and Russia fighting Great Britain and Prussia. The war ended in 1763 with the signing of the first Treaty of Paris. The treaty confirmed the conquest of New France by the British.
