Purpose

To write “eyewitness” accounts of an historical event from different points of view.

Strand: New France

Students examine the roots and culture of the French communities in North America during the 17th and 18th centuries. They determine what changes resulted from the interaction among the First Nation peoples and the French and English settlers during the period.
