Evaluating the Impact of Human Rights Violations

Grade 10 - Civics

Purpose

Students will examine the correspondence between Daniel G. Hill and Wagner Jackson in order to develop a response to Human Rights violations.

Strand: Civics

This lesson is an opportunity for students to analyse a human rights response using primary documents.  It is beneficial for the students to use primary source documents when studying human rights issues because it allows the students to put an individual human perspective on the issue.
