Image Permanence Institute - a department of the Rochester Institute of Technology's College of Imaging Arts and Sciences, is a university-based, non-profit research laboratory devoted to scientific research in the preservation of visual and other forms of recorded information. The Image Permanence Institute offers preservation-related info and resources as well as products for purchase such as the Climate Notebook and the Preservation Environmental Monitor.
Advice and guidance are also available to institutional members of the Archives Association of Ontario (AAO). The AAO’s Preservation Consultant and the Archives Advisor are available to provide assistance to members throughout the province.
