The focus of this exhibit is the architectural scene in 20th century Toronto. We have chosen a variety of buildings from homes to office buildings to churches, reflecting a spectrum of styles and function.

From humble to grand, they are all part of the fabric of city life and the lives of citizens, past and present.

While these selected drawings and photographs represent only a small portion of the holdings of the Archives of Ontario, they do provide a sense of our rich collections that document the architectural heritage of Toronto. To explore a sample of the records presented in the exhibit at the Market Gallery follow the links to the right.

Note:Some of the individual images in this section are quite large and may take a moment to download.
