Thomas and J. R. Connon, a Photographic Legacy: Life in Elora - Page Banner

John R. Connon had an intense interest in local history. In 1906 he began work on a history of Elora, originally titled Early History of Elora and Vicinity (later Elora) that was completed in 1930 (and later reprinted by Sir Wilfrid Laurier University in 1974). The book contained various photographs taken by both Connon and his father.

Included here is a sampling of photographs, taken by both Thomas and John, that depict everyday life in the Elora area.
