Lessons Learned: The Evolution of Education in Ontario - School Busses - Page Banner

As school sections began to consolidate, the distance students would have to travel to get from home to school was often much greater. School busses were used to pick up students from county and township roads to take them to their school. The horse-drawn enclosed wagon served the purpose of bussing students long before there were big yellow school buses.
