Schools and Teachers in the Province of Ontario (sometimes known as the “Blue Book”) was an annual publication put out by the provincial government from 1911 to 1966. Each volume lists all public and separate schools (including school section numbers) as well as teachers’ names and qualifications, value of school property and equipment, and average attendance. A complete set of Schools and Teachers is available in the Archives of Ontario’s Reading Room, or through microfilm interloan.
