During every visit
the paparazzi jockey to capture candid expressions and gestures or report
on royal fashion and transportation. For her part, Queen Elizabeth
II appears to reserve her broadest smiles for "walkabouts"
among the crowds and enjoys chatting with individuals of all ages and
backgrounds.
 Fashion:
Fashion is
synonymous with celebrity. Women can be regal without being royal;
and royals with a sense of style can be trend-setters in the popular
world of fashion. Queen Elizabeth II set the standard for
dressing for the occasion and proved a lovely subject for the
eager media and loyal royal watchers.

Transportation:
Trains and
boats and planes - and the Royal Buick. The Buick was a convertible
to appropriately display our visiting dignitaries. At Ontario
Place the Royal couple were whisked from stop to stop in little
tourist carts. Whatever the mode of transportation, the Queen's
and Prince Philip's arrival is cause for celebration and ceremony.
Crowds gather and the media hustle for vantage point.

Meeting the People: |
|
|
The Queen's
smile is never as broad as during the "walkabouts" when
she mingles with the Ontarians who have come to see her. Never
far away are cameras ready to capture the candid moments.
The media
know the human interest value of candid photographs of the Queen
and her Subjects.
