New Online Tool Allows for Easier Searching


We are excited to announce our new, integrated and customer-friendly online tool to search all of our archival, library and art collections in one place – the Archives and Information Management System (AIMS).

AIMS replaces four existing, outdated systems into one integrated system and will enable more records to be made available online in the future.

AIMS will integrate these existing databases:
  • Archives Descriptive Database
  • BIBLiON Library Catalogue
  • Government of Ontario Art Collection Database
  • Visual Database


AIMS allows users to create a new account, search the collections and request records.

AIMS allows us to continue to make improvements and incorporate enhanced features in the future. Any future changes will be communicated to you in a timely manner.
