The Niagara Falls panoramas: Two photographic wonders and their preservation

During renovations at the Ontario Legislative Building at Queen’s Park in 2003, workers uncovered a surprising find: two of the world’s largest panoramic photographs of Niagara Falls. Follow their journey from detection to preservation and learn why these extraordinary images, photographed by William Thomson Freeland in 1912 and 1913, continue to captivate audiences today.
