Request materials
You can request to view archival materials:
- by e-mail
- through our order request form
- by phone
- in person at a reference desk
Please provide the following information for each item:
- title
- reference code (RG xx-xx, F xxx, C xxx) or accession number (please provide complete code)
- information that appears in the “Location or Ordering Information” section in the Collections Search item description
We recommend that you request items in advance. Please tell us the date of your visit in the subject line of the e-mail.

Freedom of Information requests
Some records in our archival collection are covered by the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). They may contain sensitive personal information about living people. You need to submit a freedom of information (FOI) request to order these.
