"Dear Santa Claus:

We will be in Chicago on Christmas Eve. We are staying with our cousin Lance and his mother and father. They have a concrete yard. I give you my best wishes and I hope there's a lot of snow for you to land on.

"I had a set of these phones when I was a child. One was in the kitchen and the other in my bed room. My parents did not think about what I would use it for - room service!! I would constantly "phone" my mother for apple juice to be brought into my room. And she always did!"

"Dear. Mr. Santa:

My name is Wendy and I am 5 1/2 years old. I am in Kindergarten. I have been a good girl and have been helping Mommy. Do you think you could bring me some toys, books and some "ugh" clothes, for Christmas?

My Mommy says that you were on the radio (and she believes - on television) when she was growing up and she loved your program as you would tell all of your problems or your wonderful experiences, from the time you left the North Pole until you arrived on Christmas Eve. One or two experiences on each program. Oh, how I wish you were on again!!!!!!!

There was one (I guess your helper) from Hamilton last yer, but it wasn't so good as it was not you and the program was too short.

Please send me a letter to tell me all about yourself. I would certainly appreciate receiving one. Thank you in advance.

Hugs and Kisses,
Love from your friend,
Wendy"
