Archival records are organized into groups according to the person, organization or Ontario government office that created or accumulated them. For more information see How Archival Records Are Organized.
To browse the list:
People are listed by their last name. For example Oliver Hammond would appear in the list as HAMMOND, OLIVER.
government departments were known as “Departments” until 1972 and as “Ministries” after that date. Therefore, many government of Ontario offices appear in the list under the letters “D” or “M”.
if you are uncertain about the exact name of an organization or government department, you may also do a keyword search on Records Creators.
